FAQ

  • Can you add station X?
    Yes I can, I am always adding more stations. Just send me an email through the app, and I'll be happy to add it.
  • Can the app keep running when I go to the home screen or check my mail?
    No, that's not possible. Apple doesn't allow 3rd-party applications to keep running in the background. Only Apple's own apps like iPod or Mail are allowed to do that.
  • What bitrate does Radio.BE use?
    Radio.BE uses multiple streams for each station, if available. For instance for the VRT stations, it uses the 96Kbps stream over Wifi. Over 3G or Edge, it uses the 32Kbps stream. If playback is not smooth, it switches to the lowest, 16Kbps stream.
